I love this photo. I think Gabi took it. I like it so much, because this is what happens when we're out drawing our city: People stop to look or do a double take. Here is an urban sketcher slowing down to really see. It invites conversation. As Matthew Brehm said in his lecture, it invites social connection.
It's why I like to sketch in my city. I like to slow down. Really SEE. I like that people stop to chat with me.
I hope to see more and more new faces at our August sketchcrawl!
