Milwaukie and Portland Waterfront

I was in Milwaukie when I drew the inside of my car.

I got into a zone for this one.  The water was slapping under the rock I sat on - there was a feeling the rock might break away and float off into the river.  It didn't though.

Relaxing times continued here - Vicky and I chatted while we both sketched the Portland Spirit.

Lovely day.

  1. These are so nice, Andrea. You make me want to get out my toned paper again. I love finding the subtleties: the ripples in the water, the highlights and shading in the trees and the windows here and there. The lines are lovely.
So glad the rock didn't break!

  2. Ooh, the subtle wash of blue in the Portland Spirit sketch makes me super happy!
