A good group gathered at the Rhododendron Garden to sketch the spring color and blooms.
The day started out a little chilly but eventually got warmer...at least in time for us to be gathering for our lunch break at Laughing Planet.
I am pretty satisfied with my new Stillman & Birn Zeta series sketchbook below....it seems to work pretty well with the ink and watercolor.

What a rich variety of environments you captured! Looks like a great place to explore, so sorry I missed the fun. I especially like the dramatic composition of the logs in the pond, but all the sketches are very nice.
ReplyDeleteThanks Katura. The garden is a wonderful place...while I sketched a plant based subject there were others who got in some of the wildlife (mostly ducks and geese). So lots to enjoy. See you next time though!
ReplyDeleteDeb, I loved these in person and I love them in post form.
