December Sketchcrawl

Here are a couple of my sketches from this weekend's sketchcrawl. It was really fun, even if I didn't last as long as some of you. There are a couple of others sketches on my blog, if you're interested. You may see an attempted likeness of yourself, but I left the names off to protect the innocent. Thanks again to Alanna and Kalina for organizing this.

  1. Vicky, I liked your 'head on' drawing of the sheetmetal ornament...from my angle it was not so recognizable and therefore much weirder.

  2. Thanks, Deb, but I like your angle best. I suppose we both could have posted these rotated 180 degrees, since our host said that they had been hung on the wall upside down.

  3. Vicky, I really like your delicate style. The women's faces are lovely, as are the rest of the sketches.

  4. Wow, I didn't know that about the sheetmetal ornaments. Do you mean that they were hung that way on the building or when they came to the Arch Center??

  5. Deb, they were hung upside down at the Architectural Center, but since they were already up, they left them.
