Sketch Crawl this Saturday in NW Portland

Saturday, September 17, 2016 - Sketching in NW


There are so many cool things happening this weekend!

  • 10:00am - Meet at St. Honore Bakery, 2335 NW Thurman St, for coffee, snacks, and introductions.
  • 10:30am - Walk up to the entry to Macleay Park, between NW 29th & NW 31Sst at Thurman, and sketch around there.
  • 12:00noon - OPTIONAL:  Return to St. Honore Bakery for sketchbook sharing and lunch.


MORE OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES!


  • 3:30pm - Time-Based Art Festival - Lecture by Maya Mikdashi - 415 SW 10th Ave, Suite 300.  Archival Refusal: War, Law, and Memory in Lebanon. http://pica.org/event/archival-refusal-war-law-memory-lebanon/
  • 6:30pm -  Meet at Chapman Elementary to watch and sketch the swifts.  Bring a blanket to sit on and maybe some snacks.
I plan to go to all these things so I hope you will join me for some or all of them. -UPDATE- Weather calls for rain so I'd like to cancel going to sketch the swifts.
